As you might know, when a Windows PC has been hit by a computer virus and/or malware (it is normally both) it can run very slow indeed. Modern day infections are designed not to be removed and so cleaning can be tricky.

Unless we know that it can be done within a reasonable time onsite we will take it away so that some of the cleaning processes can run overnight. As standard practice we make a back-up of all the user files and sanitise them. Once the machine is clean we reload security software and check all installed programs for threats.

We provide complete logs of work undertaken, virus files removed etc. We normally expect to return your machine within 48 hours. This saves you money and means you don't have a techie in your living room for 5 hours!

Once the preserve of big business, networking is now common in the home as people add on wireless laptops etc. Commonly though the same security considerations are not apllied as they would be in an office environment. Data transfer/destruction

If you are replacing your computer we can assist with transferring your data & settings including your e-mail messages and addresses etc. Sometimes we are asked to set up and install a new PC out of the box including hooking it up to your broadband connection.

We also undertake to absolutely and finally eradicate all data from old hard drives to prevent the possibility of data/identity theft.
